Our Background
RatPack Production is a team of creative professionals dedicated to visual storytelling. We pride ourselves on our ability to bring your ideas to life through stunning visuals.
CEO Nikolay Akopov
Nikolay started his career in film and television production in 2005 at Amedia, the largest production studio in the 2000s. He worked in costume, props, art and other departments. As an executive producer he participated in launching one of the most popular tv-series of 2011 “Closed School".
In 2012 Nikolay founded ‘Ratpack Production’. It produced several significant projects such as Chernobyl-2 and The Law of the Stone Jungle.
In 2018 Nikolay started working in one of the most successful production companies ‘Good Story Media’. Several highly-rated comedy projects were produced with Nikolay’s participation.
In 2022 Nikolay headed the production department of one of the most famous film studios in Russia '1-2-3 Production' (company-leader of film production in 2022-2023). During being the head of the studio's production department both sequels of already successful franchises and new titles have been developed and produced. Many of them were highly appreciated by the audience and professionals (Polar-3, Krasny-5, Zhyyyzn, etc.).
Nikolay’s projects have been repeatedly awarded national professional awards, many of the projects have become important milestones in the development of CIS film and television industry. He has trained and brought up many specialists who successfully work in CIS and other countries.
